The final piece of the puzzle - a kitchen

If you have been following me on this journey you will have seen the transformation of this old stone cottage's interior from a tired 70's look to somewhere that I am proud to call home.  

For the past 2.5yrs I have been dreaming of putting the last piece of the puzzle in place and I am so happy to say that today is the day.  I have trawled through numerous interior design books, websites and home magazines to find my inspiration.  After several quotes, exploring ways of cutting costs and trying to stay true to not buying another piece of new furniture I think we have reach a happy compromise.

This very cutsy provencale kitchen has served me well over the past few years and enabled us to budget properly to enable us now to move ahead.  The previous owners left us some wonderful appliances that although dated worked perfectly and with a few purchases from the local TROC (second hand furniture shop) many a happy meal has been served from the heart of my home.

But today is the day when this ugly sister undergoes a transformation;

 

All the units will be salvaged

Wait till you see what I have in store here

 

and as we speak, look what's going on ....
