As with all renovations, things don't always go to plan and this can be exacerbated when there is a communication language problem.
One month before we arrived instead of leaving us with one bathroom, the plumber removed them all ..... ooops!
I'm not one to panick normally but the prospect of having to pee in a bucket and shower in the rain did get my adrenaline going. The original plan was to purchase all of the bathroom equipment in France once I had the chance to settle in and find the local suppliers. In the circumstances, I ended up buying everything online from suppliers in the UK and having it trucked into France. I didn't have another trip planned to the house before the move and found the UK websites much easier and user friendly, which I don't believe was just down to the language.
In my minds-eye, I was looking for a clean, crisp look. As this doubled up as my teen-queen/guest bathroom we decided to have a good sized walk-in shower and a bath. I can't tell you how many interior/house magazines I have, I just love them and they have played a huge role in helping me identify designs I like and were instrumental in inspiring me to put together mood boards for each room.
The collection above really inspired me and I used this image to take from it the aspects I loved and to create the bathroom that we have today.

Your bathroom looks heavenly! Where did you buy the mirror and the sink?
