I'm being very daring, I returned from the supermarket today with a rabbit, not a cute fluffy tailed pet but a skinned ready to cook one. I've seen them a couple of times on the supermarket shelf but haven't had the courage to buy one until today.
After a quick google search, the said rabbit has now been browned and is simmering over a low heat with some root vegetables, seasoning, provencal herbs and of course wine. It smells delicious, let's see if it has a taste to match. The children are aware that we are having rabbit for dinner today but to make it more palatable I've removed the head!
Anyone had rabbit before?
