After being couped up for a couple of days we needed to get out all the pent up energy that teenagers and 6 year old's generate and what better place than the forest close to Villeneuve-Loubet. What a fabulous find, I highly recommend it to parents with children of all ages plus individuals who love outdoor activities.
There are areas for children and then they have the REAL stuff for hardline thrill seekers, 4 parks in all. The canyoning looks thrilling, maybe one day I will be brave enough to give it a try!
For the tweenies we chose Pitchoun Forest where they were harnessed up, taught the basics and then it was up to them to work together to navigate three courses of their choice. It took around 1.5hrs and armed with a big stick to give them a helping hand with the hooks, if needed, I walked alongside. At the end of the course my neck ached from looking up for so long. The Tweenies had a fantastic time, although at times it was a challenge both mentally and physically. Were they tired out? you bet - did they go early to bed, you've got to be kidding.
I didn't get a chance to photograph the teens as they hopped onto bicycles for a 2km ride into the forest before arriving at their destination, where they had to choose from levels green to black, depending on how far out of your comfort zone you are prepared to go!
If you find you have an empty day and want to try something different, why not check it out. It is recommended that you book in advance, contact details are on the website and yes they do speak English;

Wow, what a great experience for the kiddos. I did something similar to that in southern Calif. some years back and had a blast. Thanx for sharing.
