I find it hard to describe the immense feeling of satisfaction that I get from plucking fruit off a tree in my garden and producing something for the table. Perhaps it's the nurturer in me that glows at the thought of creating something that will sustain and nourish my family not just today but also in the winter months ahead. How fantastic will it be when we go into the pantry and pluck off the shelf a jar of MamaB's fig jam?
So, I picked them

Yummy! My favourite jam! well done :)

So what kind of fruit do your neighbours have on their trees and do tell, is it a covert operation?

I suffer from the same syndrome..."immense satisfaction from plucking fruit off a tree and creating something for the table" although I do not limit my self to only trees from my own garden and I suppose that shows that I have sadly reached the stage of being incurable...
